Did Putin Catch Karl Rove in the Act?
I had suggested before – jokingly – that someone on the Left might suspect the Russian invasion of Georgia resulted from a Karl Rovian plot to make McCain look good just before the election. Call it an August Surprise, if you will.
Well, looks like I misread things. Vladimir Putin is the one making a similar accusation. Although I have the feeling that he doesn’t mean it; not the way your average paranoid loony would mean it. He’s just angry at how Georgia has backfired and needs to take it out on us.
