Reading LaShawn Barber’s blog has just reminded me (sorry, Ms. Barber, I’m a little late on the uptake): How did Obama come to pick Biden after this?
I doubt very much Biden is a racist, but how long before attack ads highlighting such talk start airing?
Or maybe it’s not a concern. After all, Democrats can usually make racial pronouncements without anyone making a big fuss. Heck, you can be a former Klansman and be the elder statesman of the Senate as long as you’re a Democrat, come to think of it.
