For the TV Averse: GOP Convention Summary – Night 2
I didn’t watch tonight. I won’t be able to watch live TV after 4PM for a few weeks because – ironically – I’m working the PM shift until late at a TV production/broadcast facility. I’ve been informed via blogs of a pretty good speech by Fred Thompson, though.
It’s just as well, because I’m kinda sick of TV commentators (regardless of the network they work for). I definitely watched way too much cable news from the end of the July until now. Fortunately, The Anchoress has a great summary of tonight’s convention which sounds perfect for the TV averse.
Fortunately for me, The Shield does not fit within the cable news category. If my DirecTV DVR has behaved as expected, the season opener should be waiting at home for me right now…
