McCain Tried to Fix Fannie/Freddie in 2005
Hot Air reports: “McCain managed to predict the entire collapse that has forced the government to eat Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, along with Bear Stearns and AIG.”
The bill never made it out of committe. It’ll be interesting to find out why in the days ahead. And now here we are.
Obama was in the Senate in 2005, but maybe he liked Fannie and Freddie just the way it was?
