No, no need for further outrage at the Stimu-pork bill (not yet!). It’s the mayor of Mexico City who’s giving Viagra for free to his constituents.
But you thought for a moment it was a provision some clever congressman slipped into the Stimu-pork bill, didn’t you? What does that say about the state of our political culture? Nothing good.
To be accurate, we don’t know whether there is a provision in the bill that gives away Viagra to a particular constituency of either party in Congress. No one has read the damn thing, and yet they’re voting on it.
