Obama Breaks the Silence
AP: Obama says he’s troubled by the situation in Iran and that it would be wrong to stay silent. (Via Allahpundit’s Twitter feed).
So much for the power of Obama’s silence. A big hand to the President for finally saying something. It’s not “interference” in Iran’s affairs to express disapproval of thuggery, whether the election was rigged or not. Sheesh.
UPDATE: Oh…Obama not perceived as tough on Iran even before his reaction to the Iranian election. Interesting…(via Insty)
