Better Late Than Never
Sorry about the lack of blogging today. I was running errands for much of the day. Annoying errands which depend on third parties doing their jobs and providing effective customer service in order to be accomplished.
But here are some cool links:
Drudge is linking to a photo of Presidents Obama and Sarkozy that is begging for a caption contest. I won’t reproduce it here because I’m not sure it would be Fair Use of copyrighted content.
In other news, Michael Moore has come up with a title for his documentary about the global financial crisis: Capitalism: A Love Story. Expect it to show how awful capitalism is and why everything is capitalism’s fault. I’m not posting the teaser trailer because I don’t want Michael Moore’s fat face anywhere on this site.
In economic news, Obama’s popularity seems to grow in direct proportion to the country’s economy, which is a fancy way of saying that the economy sucks. Or a fancy way of saying that Obama’s numbers are dropping. Pick whichever one makes you feel better.
Also, Gavin Newsom, Mayor of San Francisco, is trying to accomplish great things – through the use of government power, of course.
And finally, it’s not a salon, but the press was involved, it was off-the-record and it ocurred at the highest levels of government.
