My own?  I didn’t watch.  I had work to do and, besides, I can’t stand it when people lie to my face.

UPDATE: American Power picks up on a CNN Post-Speech poll indicating a terrifically optimistic jump in Obamacare’s popularity among speech-watchers.  Too optimistic when you get into the nitty-gritty of the poll’s methodology, as TPM does in part here.

I think now more than ever people know that it doesn’t matter what Obama says.  What matters is what’s in the bill.  And after TARP, its failures, and its officially-sanctioned AIG bonuses, Americans are not as easily swayed by fancy talk.  That, and the fact that the Obama-gic is gone.

But we’ll see what tomorrow brings…
