The Inquisitr: “It would be a common reaction from the rest of us in the world to shrug our shoulders saying ah it’s a British problem, if they want to let this happen it’s their own fault…Besides recent history showing that this is a short-sighted position to take there is also another much more subtle and potentially dangerous change to individual country laws.”

Read the whole thing.  This is all arising from that secret copyright treaty of which you might have heard in recent weeks.  Yes, the one the Obama White House didn’t want you to know about (I  guess “transparency” was just a slogan, not a promise).  In short, you could say the entertainment industry and a power-grubbing political class are behind it all.

As one of my law school professors once said, the law is like a hammer.  You can use it to build or you can use it to destroy.  A corollary of this axiom is that elections have consequences.  Think about that next time you vote.
