No, I’m not talking about Canada’s Olympic hockey victory over the U.S. last night. I’m talking banking. Did you know not a single Canadian bank has failed in the midst of the current economic crisis?
The American: “Canada’s banks are generally ranked as the safest and soundest in the world, and their non-politicized banking system could provide a model for banking reform in the United States.”
“Politicized” is the key term here.
