Patterico exposes a stealth correction by the L.A Times concerning Pat Tillman’s death, with the help of Google Cache and alert readers.
Stealth corrections don’t cut it, LAT. Journalism is hard. That means sometimes you must eat your pride and issue a correction, i.e. publicly admit a mistake was made and express your regret for the error. Don’t make the alpaca tell you twice, people!
