UPDATED: Did Obama Fail to Observe Alinsky Rule 7?
Was Obama exploiting birtherism for political advantage?
I’ve always felt that might be the case. Heck, arguably, he still is doing that.
But Alinsky Rule 7 holds that a tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. And given that 10 percent of Democrats think Obama was born overseas, 9 percent are unsure; and only 50% of independents think he was born in the U.S., I’d say the birth certificate was unveiled a little too late, assuming that keeping it under wraps was part of the White House’s plan all along.
Lefties have been ignoring Alinsky rather often lately. Unwise, in my opinion…
