I hardly have a background as an author of anything, except in a “for-hire” capacity for a few TV entities here and there – like many people in the entertainment industry, in which I’ve worked continuously since 1994.  Some of that work includes actual TV shows – such as this one on the National Geographic Channel – for which I’ve carried out either writer, research, or producer duties (in some cases, a combination of all three).

But I do have a couple of indie feature films under my belt.  Films being collaborative works, however, I am reluctant to refer to films I’ve worked on as “my works”.  At any rate, I list three films in which I participated below.  One of them you may actually buy on Amazon.com.  It’s a slasher film.

I did author an increasingly obsolete scholarly paper while in law school, on the latest negotiations of the Hollywood guilds with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers; and how the negotiation environment would be affected by the rise of New Media.

The paper has been listed on the Social Science Research Network’s Journal of Employment Law Top 10 download list.  The three major guilds have all renewed their contracts twice since I finished that paper; so it’s now of little value, I believe, though the issues I explore in the paper are not entirely obsolete.
