UPDATED: MSNBC: Taking Bias Too Far

American Power: Americans for Limited Government wants heads to roll over MSNBC’s attempt to uphold the Racial Narrative.

I wonder how GE’s shareholders will feel about this…

UPDATE: Politico: MSNBC responds and focuses on Contessa’s conduct in the process.

But the issue is not what Contessa said or didn’t say, but how the news package was edited by the producer of the piece.  The questions then are who produced it and why MSNBC is willing to tolerate such journalistic and intellectual dishonesty from its personnel, because this is no longer just bias.  It’s Orwellian-level media deception for propaganda purposes.

As someone who produced content for national and international broadcast continuously from 1998 to 2005, I can tell you that it’s entirely possible that Contessa and the rest of the anchors on that day didn’t know one thing about the footage that went into producing the piece.

On the other hand, there is also on-air talent who produce their own pieces.  Thus, it’s possible that MSNBC‘s response is deceptive and Contessa knew exactly what went into producing the piece.

Only they know…

MORE: Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey:

MS-NBC should fire everyone involved in this deception, in front of the camera and behind it. It has a decision to make as to whether it is a news and opinion channel, or a propaganda outlet for the Left. There is a difference, and this segment crossed it.
